Strong emphasis on taking part in classes during the week that involve crafting something using fire. Inspired by Fire: a competition to be held early in the week that requires the entry to be something inspired by fire. Must have documentation proving it’s place in a historically medieval context. Pottery Tent: Special rewards await those individuals hearty enough to learn the arts of kiln building and wood kiln firing. And we’re still coming up with more hot stuff to add to this list! Ideas from Guild members are welcome! ARCHERY: Flaming Arrow Shoot: a test of skill to shoot arrows with “flame” attached to them at a designated target(s). Wall of Flame Thrown Weapon Tourney: thrown weapons through a wall of “fire”. Can you hit that which you cannot see? BATTLE: Pillage THEN Burn: A battle that will involve the gaining of loot, the retreating from enraged villagers and the burning of the village….unless the tables are turned. Services during the Week: Troll: The Fire Guild will sit Troll on June 15th from noon to midnight. Sit a shift with us and you too can be a Guild member! Port-a-John lighting: The Fire Guild will be installing glow sticks each evening in the port-a- johns. Join us in this task and you too can be a Guild member! Page School: The Fire Guild will be giving the pages of Calontir opportunities to earn their service points while we help to mentor these youths. Be a Page Mentor and you too can be a Guild member! Water Bearing: The Fire Guild will be covering the water bearing needs for the battle field for one day of the war. Be a water bearer in the name of the Guild and you too can be a Guild member!
